Here is a list of contacts I would recommend in conjunction with daily “Lid Hygiene”

Thank you to our optometrist, Dr. Hosseini, for compiling this list.

1) Dailies Total one  comes only in one BC 8.5 Sphere power  +6.00 to -10.00  but the + power is not out yet at this time. I have to see if it has been released.  Cost is about $800 to $1100 for year supply
2) Acuvue Oasys 1 day  disposable which comes two BC 8.5 and 9.0  Power SPHERE only +8.00 to -12.00  cost is about $800 to $1100 as well

3) Acuvue Oasys 2 weeks disposable which comes in two BC 8.4 and 8.8  comes also in astigmatism powers various range. 2 week replacement from day of use and do not recommend sleeping in them. Recommend always with RUB solution for dry eye patients and at last 1 x a week or daily use of hydrogen peroxide system to clean the lenses.  Price can be from  about $250 to $500 depending on the type of prescription and then cost of solutions added which is about $150 to $300 a year.

For severe dry eye patients going to monthly is probably not a good idea!.  I always focus on treating their allergies as well and recommend reduce their wear time!  Patients should not be wearing these lenses all day long really!
