Rarely a reaction to a sulfa drug can cause a life threatening reaction. If you are ever prescribed one of these drugs below, know that a rare reaction to the sulfa-containing drug can occur.
Stevens-Johnson syndrome (Erythema Multiforme Major) is rare but can be life threatening.
Symptoms are
-sudden onset fever, rash, red eyes, feeling tired, joint aches, breathing issues or difficulty
If you start to get skin marks (red center with a white surrounding area with a red base) on hands or feet, tell your doctor right away and seek immediate medical attention.
