Maskin Cannulas are in high demand for our patients with severe dry eye disease to be able to insert a patient’s own PRP, stem cells, or a donor’s cord blood serum into the meibomian glands to try to restore their function. The original company (Rhein Medical) was sold to Katena who refuses to make them even under compassionate use.
